At Milan Design Week, we unveiled PORTAL—a live robotic printing installation inside an abandoned factory at Alcova. Over the course of the week, we 3D printed 10 production-ready chairs on-site using sustainable materials and our large-scale fabrication process. Created in collaboration with designers from around the world, the collection showcased Decibel’s approach to circular manufacturing and bold, design-driven solutions for modern spaces. PORTAL wasn’t just an installation—it was a real-time demonstration of how global design and local production can come together to reshape what’s possible.
